Welcome to Rob Harper Designs Artist, educator, gallery owner, Rob Harper has been working with copper,
his metal of choice, for over 30 years. He's developed his own techniques of working with copper and creating
unique patina applications, blending the old with the new. Copper, one of
the oldest known metals manipulated by man, is still sought after for its warm, rich properties. Harper's metal work is unique in its form, patinas, and finish. The sometimes whimsical, yet sophisticated
metal designs are perfect for the home or office.
While each piece of copperwork is truly one of a kind due to variation in size, shape and patinas, there are tried and true forms that keep reappearing. For that special site requiring an impact piece, Harper does requests. A dialogue with clients is an important part of the selection, design and installation process. There is great satisfaction in an installation completed with everyone totally happy with their final choices.
